Dr. Brusa is a Senior Researcher in Bioethics at the Bioethics and Law Center, Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, and is a member of the ERA-Net international project on Personalized Medicine, Carlo Besta Hospital, Milano, Italy.
She has been a member of diverse hospital ethics committees in Spain, Italy, and the USA. She has taught bioethics to undergraduate, graduate, and continuous education programs.
She has taught and guided the formation of the first bioethics committee of the Palestinian Authority at the Caritas Baby Hospital, Bethlehem. She has authored more than twenty peer reviews academic publications in Bioethics in leading journals. She has co-edited a book on Precision Medicine by Oxford University Press 2022. Her research interests cover the regulation of childbirth, ethics in adolescents care and personalized medicine, employing theoretical analysis and qualitative methodologies.
